BRIEF HISTORY
Born in Stockholm, Sweden the 29th of May 1964. Based in Stockholm; married to Christin since 1989, father of Sebastian and Josefine. I speak, read and write Swedish, English and German and have basic understanding in Portuguese, Spanish and French.
EDUCATION
I started out in 1989, studying film history at the University of Stockholm. This made me realize that I wanted to pursue my interest for moving images further, which resulted in practical studies at the Stockholm Film School. Understanding that this was my calling, I started applying for work and had the good fortune of being offered a job as an editor of film trailers. In the following two and a half years I produced more than 250 trailers for a Scandinavian cable channel, FilmNet, and a number of cinema trailers; amongst others “Breaking the Waves” for Lars von Trier.
After having left the trailer business in 1993, I took a course in Scriptwriting at the RMI Berghs Art School in Stockholm. It was a great experience to learn more about the scriptwriting part of filmmaking, but as production companies started calling me straight into the classroom, I realized I simply had to continue editing.

However, now it was suddenly all commercials. Between the years of 1994 and 1997, I edited approximately 500 commercials, and I am still in the habit of editing my own footage.
My directorial debut was with the corporate film for Volvo, “CX70”, in June 1997. I have in so far directed hundreds of commercials and several world wide corporate films. Throughout these past years I have been working with production companies, both freelance and exclusively, in Denmark, Dubai, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine. And I have received awards for my work in the UK, Sweden, Portugal and USA.
